Legalcommunity has published an article on Delex’s work in relation to PFAS contamination in the Veneto region.
Delex, with its environmental litigation team led by Professor Giorgio Afferni, is working on the structuring of a collective action aimed at protecting those affected by the contamination in the provinces of Vicenza, Verona and Padua.
This is an entirely new initiative in the Italian legal landscape, requiring the coordination of legal, scientific, medical, environmental and economic expertise. The objective is to build a robust litigation pathway, grounded in documentary and technical evidence, capable of providing effective redress to a broad group of affected individuals.
As reported by Legalcommunity, the initiative forms part of the growing development, also in Italy, of collective litigation models supported by specialised professional structures and litigation funding instruments.
