Giorgio Afferni, Managing Partner of Delex, was invited to participate to the Global Class Actions & Mass Torts Conference organized by Perfect Law between 23-24 May 2024 in London. Giorgio spoke about collective litigation for infringements of competition law in Italy, comparing the class action model with the assignment of claim model, focusing on the reasons for the weak attractiveness of the Italian class action for international investment funders and therefore on the superiority at least for the time being of the model of the assignment of claims. The panel was presided by professor Ianika Tzankova of the University of Tilburg, funding partner at Birkway.
